Who Are We?

We are a group of Christians dedicated to offering the hope of Jesus Christ to all people in the community. We offer spiritual hope by communicating the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And we offer practical hope by serving the physical needs of the poor and disadvantaged.

The Good News:

There are many who wonder if there is any such thing as "Good News" in today's world. There are so many problems in our families. So many people are out of work and struggling financially. Crime, violence and corruption seem out of control. Many are tempted to give up hope for the future.

Here's the Good News! God is still the ruler of the universe. He has a plan to fix this broken world and the power to overcome all that's wrong in humanity. We could not pay that debt for ourselves or earn God's acceptance in any way. We are lost without Him.

Our God is a God of miracles, and He did His biggest miracle when Jesus rose from the grave in victory over death. Now He offers forgiveness and eternal life for all who give their lives to Him in faith. Faith seems unreasonable to some, but multitudes of people have found God to be the loving Savior He claims to be. Nothing on earth can compare to the joy found in a faith relationship with Jesus. As we yield our wills to Jesus Christ, He transforms our lives to experience abundant blessings.

This Good News has the power to change you, your family, your community and the world for the better. Responding to the Good News with faith is the best thing you could do to bring hope into your life.

As a person of faith in Jesus Christ you become a precious son or daughter of God in His loving family. Your brothers and sisters in faith, gather together to worship our great God every week in many local churches. The church is God's gift to you, like a spiritual family where you can learn and grow in faith and serve Him. We encourage you to connect with one of the many good churches in our area. The past is the past and cannot be changed, but bright hope is available for your future. The key is to embrace your present opportunity to turn to God in faith and experience the best possible life you could imagine.

We pray for you with the words of Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

That's the "Good News."
